for friendship and learn to celebrate the differences
between us. Kind words are like a Boomerang. They
always find their way back to you!

songs from Dans popular debut album, Make
a Bridge are featured in this extraordinary, participatory

feedback about the show. I have used the CD in
my music classes this past week and the kids all
join in, learning the songs very quickly." -

World
of Words - Literacy touches almost every
aspect of our lives, enabling us to function
in the world of words and to express ourselves.
Teachers and parents are a childs bridge
to literacy. Visuals, word family games, a giant
word wall and a hilarious two-team word scramble
help children absorb important themes.
This wonderful,
participatory program blends music, laughter,
rhythm and rhymes to celebrate the gift of
literacy.
"
...we would like to thank you for an energetic
performance of a World of Words. Our school is
focusing on literacy. The performance was exactly
what we were looking for. The children were thrilled!" -
Laura McNeil, Parent Council, Charlottetown Jr.
PS
(Dan was the key note speaker at
the TDSB Early Years Literacy Conference 2005 and
a feature presenter at the Toronto Read to Succeed
Conference 2006!) |
